Side note...(Future) Navy girl here =)

Last july I officially made the decision to join the NAVY.  I have been in the delayed entry program (DEP) for almost EIGHT months!!! This is ridiculous... It has been a long wait in DEP. Right now I am trying to leave early but it isn't easy. I know just about everything in the PQS start guide and still preparing for the IFA. 

I leave for basic training July 11th I have a little over 3 months left until I leave. Any other future sailors out there leaving around the same time??

From the Ground Up!!!

Its official I am update my wardrobe!

For the past year I have been going through this major change in my life and in my closet.

I am aiming to represent myself in the best way possible.

Recreating myself from the ground up, I will keep the things I love (i.e. music, creativity, travel, meeting knew people) and be as honest with myself as possible. When I say 'ground up' i mean both figuratively and literally. So I am starting from the shoes!! What girl doesn't love shoes?

I am looking for things for the spring. I LOVE comfort. While looking through Zappos.com I found these shoes by Roxy.

I love them because they don't have this big logo all over the shoe to represent the brand. They look comfortable and are simple. I will write a review on them once they arrive!! Look out for my next post!
